Transportation


  • Transylvania County Transportation provides rides for medical needs inside and outside of the county. Some rides require a fare. Call 828-884-3203 or email transport@transylvaniacounty.org

Hunger and Food Insecurity

Substance Misuse


Dental Care


  • Mission Health has a "ToothBus" which visits Transylvania County during spring break and early summer to provide  dental care to elementary school-age children. For more information call 828-884-1740

Family Support


  • The Family Place has locations in both Rosman and Brevard. Aimed at supporting families at no-cost. They have offerings such as parenting classes, play groups, and opportunities to build community. More information can be found on their website https://www.thefamilyplacenc.com/ 

  • TC Strong aims to improve mental health and wellbeing among youth in Transylvania County. Their goals include increasing awareness, reducing stigma, providing educational resources, and increasing access to services for youth and families in our community.
